the change rangers.
The next generation will need new skills to adapt to the changing climate. When they learn them together, everyone benefits.
Of 384 teams from 70 countries, my team was selected as one of 13 winners of What Design Can Do's Climate Action Challenge: a competition for design solutions to encourage climate adaptation. My team's project? A scout troop called The Change Rangers.
The Process: My partner and I researched climate adaptation strategies, delved into our scouting pasts (I was a Girl Scout!), and flexed our design skills to create an informational video and sample badges.
Next up: a five month acceleration program based in Amsterdam to turn our concept into a real force for good in the world.
